In October of 2004, Horizon Hobby rocked the RC world by unveiling one of the most revolutionary products to ever hit the market: Spektrum 2.4GHz Digital Spectrum Modulation Technology. Similar technology in the computer and telephone industries has eliminated interference, increased signal resolution, and provided a stronger link between the base units and the transmitting units. Since then, racers and now pilots have embraced Spektrum technology, and the future is even more promising.                                                                                                  
Futaba was established on February 3, 1948 as a manufacturer of vacuum tubes for receivers and vacuum fluorescent displays. Futaba became one of the first companies of its type to provide comprehensive radio control products, selection and service to hobbyists. Futaba systems and products were quickly accepted and used by serious competitors and casual enthusiasts alike. Futaba products are used in the air, on the water, underwater and on the ground for all types of RC Models.

The R/C products that KO PROPO produced were originally designed for air use. Looking into other markets, Mr. Kondo saw the increasing need for land use R/C and this was his next concentration. As of 1988, KO PROPO concentrates on producing products for R/C land use only. Just a little history lesson in R/C.
